Saving Four-o-clock tubers

Four-o-clocks (mirabilis jalapa) grow easily from seed, and often volunteer. But like dahlias, they, too, have a large, fleshy tuber that is easy to save through the winter. The advantage? If you plant the tuber, you'll get flowers much sooner. Treat them exactly the same way you do the dahlia tubers.
